Lubricants Production Manager

Production Manager – Lubricants & Grease Manufacturing Plant Location: Baghdad, Iraq Department: Production / Manufacturing Position: Production Manager Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage the production and manufacturing operations of our Lubricants & Grease Manufacturing Plant in Baghdad. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of proven professional experience in the lubricants industry , with strong hands-on technical knowledge of lubricant and grease formulations, blending processes, production operations, quality requirements, and plant management. The candidate must be capable of managing production while also providing strong technical expertise in the formulation and manufacturing of different automotive and industrial products. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise all daily production activities of the manufacturing plant. Prepare and implement production plans and schedules according to production capacity and market requirements. Manage the complete production process from raw material preparation and formulation through blending, processing, filling, and packaging . Ensure accurate weighing, dosing, mixing, blending, and processing of all raw materials and additives. Develop, review, optimize, and troubleshoot product formulations. Ensure products are manufactured according to approved formulations, specifications, and quality standards. Monitor production efficiency, productivity, material consumption, production losses, and product yields. Coordinate closely with Quality Control, Maintenance, Procurement, Warehouse, Planning, and HSE departments. Identify production and formulation problems and implement effective corrective actions. Supervise production personnel and ensure proper allocation of manpower. Ensure proper operation and utilization of production equipment and coordinate with the Maintenance Department to minimize downtime. Monitor production costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Support the development of new products and improvement of existing formulations. Ensure proper implementation of plant operating procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports for management. Continuously improve production processes, product quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. Mandatory Technical Experience The candidate must have strong practical and hands-on experience in lubricant and grease formulation and manufacturing . He must have a detailed understanding of the formulation, production, blending, and troubleshooting of a wide range of products, including: 1. Automotive Engine Oils Gasoline engine oils. Diesel engine oils. Different SAE viscosity grades. Mineral, semi-synthetic, and fully synthetic formulations. Understanding of API and other relevant performance classifications.
