Manufacturing Engineer

You will be responsible for planning, developing, and optimising manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, consistent quality, and compliance with engineering and industry standards. Working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams, you will support new product introductions, resolve manufacturing challenges, and contribute to digital transformation and capital project initiatives, all while fostering a safe, collaborative, and high-performing environment. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** * Review manufacturing capabilities regularly and support new product introductions into production * Provide practical engineering solutions for issues arising during assembly, machining, and testing activities * Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for safety, manufacturing, and operations, and deliver training to teams * Analyse tooling requirements and lead the design and development of tools and fixtures to support manufacturing processes * Create and maintain routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for make items within QuickShip and MEAPAC * Act as a focal point for equipment maintenance, supporting both breakdown and preventive maintenance activities * Support the planning and execution of CAPEX projects across QuickShip and MEAPAC operations * Contribute to factory digitalisation and intelligent automation initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency * Drive and support 5S+1 and Lean manufacturing practices to enhance operational performance * Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and standards * Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth production flow, quality assurance, and continuous improvement **Who You Are:** You build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives, contributing to a positive and inclusive team environment.
