Mechanical Project Engineer

**Location:** Dubai, UAE **Experience Required:** 5–8 years of UAE experience **Availability:** Must be currently available in the UAE About the Role Etlad Construction Co. LLC is seeking a skilled and proactive **Mechanical Project Engineer** to join our growing MEP team. The ideal candidate will have solid UAE construction experience managing mechanical works for commercial, residential, hospitality, or industrial projects from planning through project completion. Key Responsibilities * Plan, coordinate, and supervise all mechanical works in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and approved schedules. * Review mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents. * Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution. * Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. * Prepare work programs, material requirements, procurement requests, and manpower plans. * Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and HSE requirements. * Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during project execution. * Monitor subcontractor performance and verify completed work for payment certification. * Attend project coordination and progress meetings with clients and consultants. * Prepare progress reports, site documentation, RFIs, variation orders, and project close-out documents. * Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, and other applicable authority requirements. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. * 5–8 years of relevant UAE experience in MEP construction. * Proven experience managing mechanical works for building construction projects. * Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Mechanical systems. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents. * Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, and subcontractors. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is an advantage. * Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. * Valid UAE Driving License is preferred. * Must be currently available in the UAE. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with high-rise, hospitality, residential, commercial, or industrial projects. * Familiarity with local authority approval processes and QA/QC procedures. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
