**Job Summary** We are seeking a qualified **Mechanical Site Engineer** to supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works on construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure all mechanical works are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements while meeting project schedules and client expectations. **Key Responsibilities:** **Site Execution** * Supervise daily mechanical installation activities at the project site. * Ensure mechanical works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. * Coordinate installation activities with civil, electrical, architectural, and MEP teams. * Monitor site progress and ensure project milestones are achieved. * Inspect completed work before consultant and client inspections. * Resolve day-to-day site execution issues and technical challenges. * Ensure all works comply with project requirements and applicable standards. **Mechanical Installation** * Supervise installation of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, pumps, chillers, FCUs, AHUs, and ventilation systems. * Oversee plumbing, drainage, water supply, firefighting, and mechanical utility installations. * Coordinate installation of mechanical equipment and machinery. * Verify alignment, leveling, testing, and commissioning readiness of mechanical systems. * Ensure all installations follow approved shop drawings and method statements. **Project Coordination** * Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Clients, Subcontractors, and Suppliers. * Attend project coordination and progress meetings. * Coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics, and site execution activities. * Follow up on material deliveries and equipment availability. * Ensure timely resolution of technical queries and RFIs. **Planning & Scheduling** * Prepare daily and weekly work plans. * Monitor project schedules and site progress. * Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, tools, and equipment. * Assist in preparing look-ahead schedules. * Identify delays and recommend recovery actions. * Monitor productivity and resource utilization. **Quality Control** * Ensure all mechanical works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and QA/QC procedures. * Conduct site inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams. * Raise inspection requests (IRs) and close punch list items. * Rectify non-conformances and ensure high-quality workmanship. * Maintain quality documentation and inspection records. **Material & Equipment Management** * Verify materials and equipment delivered to the site. * Ensure approved materials are used during installation. * Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage. * Coordinate material requests with procurement and stores. * Maintain material tracking and inventory records. **Testing & Commissioning** * Coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. * Witness testing of mechanical systems. * Ensure testing procedures comply with project specifications. * Support functional testing and final system handover. * Prepare commissioning reports and documentation. **Health, Safety & Environment** * Ensure compliance with HSE policies and site safety regulations. * Conduct toolbox talks with site teams. * Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices. * Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately. * Maintain a safe and clean work environment. **Documentation & Reporting** * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. * Maintain site diaries and work records. * Track RFIs, inspection requests, NCRs, and approvals. * Maintain as-built documentation and project records. * Prepare snag lists and monitor close-out activities. **Client & Consultant Coordination** * Attend site inspections with consultants and clients. * Coordinate approvals for completed mechanical works. * Resolve technical issues raised during inspections. * Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders. * Ensure client requirements are implemented effectively. **Project Close-Out** * Coordinate final inspections and testing. * Complete snag rectification works. * Support project handover and final documentation. * Ensure all punch list items are completed before project completion. **General Responsibilities** * Ensure compliance with company policies and project procedures. * Support continuous improvement initiatives. * Maintain confidentiality of project information. * Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management. **RequirementsEducation** * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. **Experience** * 3–7 years of experience in mechanical site execution for construction or industrial projects. * UAE/GCC experience is preferred. * Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, MEP, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects is an advantage. **Technical Skills** * Ability to read IFC drawings, shop drawings, and mechanical lay
