Location: Erbil Working Hours: 48 hours per week Job Type: On-site Department: IT Job Summary Manage and optimize the day‑to‑day running of our Odoo retail platform across the entire holding companies. He/she will be responsible for maintaining system integrity, performing data migrations, ensuring seamless POS integration, and collaborating with the development team to deliver business‑critical customizations. The role requires a blend of technical Odoo knowledge, retail operations experience, and strong cross‑functional communication. Duties & responsibilities: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Odoo modules for POS, inventory, purchasing & accounting. Perform daily data integrity checks and resolve discrepancies. Coordinate with IT to ensure Other Systems‑/Odoo‑compatible firmware and drivers. Conduct scheduled stock‑take reconciliations (counting, scanning, shrinkage correction). Adjust inventory records and audit trails in Odoo. Record assets within Odoo’s Asset Management app, and lead the asset inventory project: validate quantity, condition (“working / not working”). Identify repeatable manual tasks and create Odoo Workflows or Scheduled Actions to reduce workload. Develop and maintain custom reports (sales, inventory, POS activity). Collaborate with the Odoo Developer to test, deploy, and roll‑back custom modules. Communicate release plans to store managers and provide end‑user guidance. Produce accurate Odoo SOPs and end‑user manuals. Deliver 1‑on‑1 coaching to store staff on new workflows. Partner with sourcing & stores team to align receiving processes with Odoo purchase workflow. Work with Marketing to ensure promotions and pricing updates are correctly reflected in the POS. Monitor system uptime; investigate and resolve any performance bottlenecks. Provide recommendations for upgrades, new modules, or process improvements Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Experience: 3+ years administering Odoo (v15+). Languages: Professional fluency in Arabic; working proficiency in English (written and spoken). Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with enterprise collaboration platforms. Strong knowledge of Odoo Retail (POS) and Inventory modules SQL / PostgreSQL familiarity for reporting/queries. Basic Python scripting for lightweight automation.
