About the Role. Job Title: OHTL Electrical Technician Job Location: Iraq Department: On Sync Energy Management Services Company Job Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL). Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair high-voltage transmission lines and associated electrical equipment. Conduct line inspections and identify faults, damaged components, and potential safety hazards. Maintain transmission line components, including conductors, insulators, towers, and earthing systems. Support testing, fault diagnosis, and restoration of transmission line systems. Ensure availability of tools, equipment, materials, and spare parts for maintenance activities. Maintain maintenance records and prepare daily and monthly activity reports. Follow electrical safety procedures and permit-to-work requirements during maintenance activities. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of work. Qualification Requirements Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of electrical maintenance experience, including at least 6 years in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or similar industrial sector. Hands-on experience in OHTL maintenance, high-voltage transmission systems, and associated electrical equipment. Knowledge of transmission line inspections, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance. Ability to use electrical testing equipment and interpret technical drawings. Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
