Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain detailed project baseline schedules using Primavera P6. * Prepare WBS, activity structures, project milestones, calendars and Level 1–4 schedules. * Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover activities. * Review contracts, project scope, BOQ, specifications and contractual completion requirements. * Prepare resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules, manpower plans and cash-flow forecasts. * Establish progress measurement systems, activity weightages, project KPIs and reporting formats. * Monitor actual progress against the approved baseline schedule and budget. * Update schedules using actual dates, remaining durations, progress percentages and forecast completion dates. * Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards and schedule narratives. * Develop S-curves, manpower histograms, productivity reports and planned-versus-actual analysis. * Perform critical-path, float, schedule variance and resource-utilization analysis. * Monitor engineering deliverables, technical submittals, approvals and IFC drawing releases. * Track procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor submissions, manufacturing, inspections and deliveries. * Monitor construction quantities, manpower, equipment, productivity and subcontractor performance. * Prepare two-week, three-week and monthly look-ahead schedules. * Attend client, consultant, project-management, progress and site coordination meetings. * Conduct planning meetings with project engineers, site engineers, discipline leads and subcontractors. * Present schedule status, delays, risks, constraints and recovery actions to management and clients. * Identify potential delays, interface issues and project risks and recommend mitigation measures. * Prepare recovery, acceleration and catch-up programmes when progress falls behind schedule. * Maintain delay registers, constraint logs, risk registers, milestone trackers and action lists. * Analyse project costs, commitments, actual expenditure, forecasts and cost variances. * Apply earned-value management techniques, including PV, EV, AC, CPI, SPI, EAC and ETC. * Support project budgeting, cost control, change management and monthly forecasting. * Monitor variations, additional works, change orders and their impact on cost and schedule. * Review subcontractor baseline schedules, progress updates, invoices and recovery plans. * Support delay analysis, extension-of-time claims, impact assessments and contractual correspondence. * Coordinate testing, commissioning, punch-list closure and final project handover schedules. * Maintain accurate planning records, progress evidence, cost reports and historical project data. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline. * Minimum 4–7 years of experience in project planning and project controls. * Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, advanced Excel and reporting tools. * Experience with cost control, forecasting, earned-value management and progress measurement. * Good understanding of EPC, construction and commissioning sequences. * Familiarity with Power BI, ERP systems and cost-control software is an advantage. * Knowledge of delay analysis, claims, variations and extension-of-time procedures. * Strong client interaction, analytical, communication, presentation, reporting and problem-solving skills.
