Project Manager

**Required: Project Manager to work in a contracting company Abu Dhabi - UAE.** **Employment Type:** Full-Time, Permanent. **Availability:** Immediate to 1-2 weeks is preferred. **Position Summary:** We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic **Project Manager** to lead our building construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will assume overall responsibility for the planning, execution, financial control, and timely delivery of assigned projects. You will ensure strict compliance with contractual obligations, schedule milestones, quality standards, HSE regulations, and budget targets. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Project Leadership & Execution:** Lead, direct, and oversee building construction projects from initiation through to successful handover. * **Team Management:** Supervise, mentor, and coordinate multidisciplinary site teams, including Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors (QS), and Estimators. * **Stakeholder Management:** Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and Abu Dhabi local authorities (e.g., Municipality, Civil Defense, ADDC). * **Planning & Scheduling:** Develop comprehensive project execution plans, master schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies. * **Financial & Commercial Control:** Manage project costing, variation orders, progress billings, claims, and overall commercial aspects. * **Risk & Quality Management:** Proactively identify project risks and execute mitigation plans. Ensure zero compromise on quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards. * **Reporting:** Review and approve technical submittals, progress updates, and monthly executive reports. **Requirements & Qualifications:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in **Civil Engineering** (Equivalency from the UAE Ministry of Education is highly preferred). * **Experience: Minimum of 20 Years of solid experience in the UAE construction industry (specifically in Building Construction).** * experience with at least one of the following key developers is preferred: * **ALDAR** * **Musanada** * **ADNOC** * **Provis** * **Contracts & Regulations:** Thorough understanding of FIDIC contracts, claims management, project controls, and Abu Dhabi building codes/regulations. * **Skills:** Strong leadership, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
