QC Engineer-Electrical and Instrumentation

**Job Title:** QA/QC Engineer **Company:** TechnoMAK Modular Building Solutions **Location:** Sharjah, UAE **Employment Type:** Permanent, Full-Time **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across our oil and gas operations, ensuring compliance with international codes, standards, and client specifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and regulatory compliance across projects. Key Responsibilities * Develop, implement, and monitor QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection test plans (ITPs) in line with project and company requirements * Conduct inspections and audits of materials, equipment, welding, coating, and fabrication activities to ensure compliance with API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, and other relevant industry standards * Review and approve technical documentation, including material certificates, NDT reports, and welding procedure specifications (WPS/PQR) * Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and third-party inspection agencies to ensure quality requirements are met * Identify non-conformances, initiate corrective/preventive actions, and track close-out * Maintain accurate QA/QC records, reports, and documentation for audits and certifications * Support internal and external audits, including ISO 9001 certification processes * Liaise with project management, HSE, and engineering teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout project lifecycles * Provide guidance and training to site personnel on QA/QC procedures and best practices **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related field) * Minimum 5–8 years of QA/QC experience within the oil and gas or related heavy industry sector * Strong knowledge of API, ASME, ASTM, ISO 9001, and NDT methods * CSWIP/CWI or NDT Level II certification preferred * Experience with inspection test plans, non-conformance reports, and audit processes * Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills * Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC software/documentation systems * Ability to work on-site and travel to project locations as required **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Health insurance * Annual leave and air ticket allowance * Career development opportunities within a growing organization Pay: AED7,500.00 - AED9,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
