Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven **Sales Account Manager** to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing key accounts within the UAE modern trade sector, with proven experience working with major retail chains such as **Lulu Hypermarket, Nesto Hypermarket, Mark & Save, Union Coop, Carrefour, Safari, Al Maya, Grand Hypermarket, Viva, and other leading retailers**.
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, negotiating commercial agreements, and ensuring excellent execution across assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop relationships with key modern trade accounts.
* Identify opportunities to increase sales, market share, and product distribution.
* Negotiate annual agreements, promotions, pricing, and shelf placement with retail buyers.
* Plan and execute promotional activities to maximize sales performance.
* Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts, and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
* Coordinate with merchandising, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution.
* Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
* Resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining strong business relationships.
* Prepare regular sales reports and account performance reviews.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* **Minimum 3–5 years of UAE FMCG sales experience in Modern Trade.**
* **Proven experience handling key accounts such as Lulu Hypermarket, Nesto Hypermarket, Mark & Save, Carrefour, Union Coop, Safari, Al Maya, Grand Hypermarket, Viva, or similar retail chains.**
* Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools.
* Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
* Ability to work independently and achieve ambitious sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications
* Existing relationships with retail buyers and category managers.
* Experience in FMCG, food & beverage, or consumer goods industries.
* Strong understanding of UAE retail market dynamics.
