Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated **Senior Accountant** to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least **10 years of accounting experience**, with strong knowledge of **UAE taxation, corporate accounting, and financial reporting**. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounting operations, visiting branches to review accounting processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE regulations, and supporting the finance function across the organization. Key Responsibilities * Manage and oversee the company's daily accounting operations. * Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations. * Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulations. * Handle tax filings and coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities. * Visit company branches to review accounting records, procedures, and internal controls. * Monitor branch financial performance and provide recommendations for improvements. * Supervise month-end and year-end closing activities. * Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records. * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. * Support external and internal audits. * Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards. * Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum **10 years of accounting experience**, preferably in the UAE. * Strong knowledge of **UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial reporting**. * Experience in handling multiple branches or multi-site accounting operations is an advantage. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and travel to company branches when required. Preferred Qualifications * CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage. * Experience in managing a team is preferred. Application Question(s): * 1.
