We don't just need someone to read from a script; we need a code-literate investigator who sits at the crucial intersection of software development and customer success. **The Role: Your Mission** As our Software Support Engineer, you will be the ultimate guardian of our product experience. When complex software anomalies arise, you will dive deep into the codebase, log files, and databases to diagnose, debug, and resolve high-level technical issues. You will be the bridge between our client-facing teams and our core development squads. **Key Responsibilities** * **Deep-Dive Troubleshooting:** Act as the Tier 2/Tier 3 technical lead to investigate, debug, and resolve complex software application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. * **Code & Query Analysis:** Read through application code, analyze system architectures, and write SQL queries to track down anomalies in data layers and application logic. * **The Engineering Bridge:** Clearly document, replicate, and escalate verified software bugs to the core product development team, collaborating closely with them on permanent patches. * **Client Advocacy:** Translate complex, deeply technical code fixes into clear, actionable, and empathetic updates for our enterprise clients. * **CI/CD & Deployment Monitoring:** Assist in monitoring software deployments, API configurations, and cloud integrations to ensure optimal system uptime and performance. * **Knowledge Crafting:** Build and maintain an internal knowledge base of known software behaviors, workarounds, and technical workflows. **Who You Are (The Technical Toolkit)** * **The Software Investigator:** You have **2 to 4 years of experience** in a Software Support, Application Support, or Junior Full-Stack Developer role. * **Code Literate:** You have hands-on experience reading and understanding modern web/enterprise programming languages (e.g., **JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#, or Java**). * **Database Fluent:** Strong proficiency with SQL (writing complex queries, analyzing relational databases like PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL). * **API Savvy:** Comfort and familiarity working with RESTful APIs, JSON datasets, and webhooks using tools like Postman. * **The Communicator:** Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
