Fit-Out Planning Engineer

Job Title: Fit-Out Planning Engineer **Experience:** Minimum 5 Years **Department:** Projects / Planning **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Fit-Out Planning Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, coordinating with project teams, tracking progress, and ensuring timely project completion while maintaining quality and budget requirements. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. * Develop baseline programs, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource-loaded schedules. * Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly. * Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved. * Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans. * Identify project risks, delays, and critical path activities, and recommend corrective actions. * Track procurement, material deliveries, and site activities to ensure alignment with project timelines. * Attend project meetings and present planning updates to clients and management. * Analyze project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) where applicable. * Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company procedures. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling interior fit-out projects. * Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project. * Strong knowledge of fit-out construction sequences and project lifecycle. * Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills. * Ability to prepare planning reports and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM coordination is an added advantage. Preferred Skills * Strong problem-solving and time management abilities. * Experience working on commercial, retail, hospitality, or residential fit-out projects. * Familiarity with UAE construction standards and project management practices. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
