General Accountant

Key Responsibilities * **Daily Operations:** Process invoices (AP/AR), bank transactions, expense reports, and manage petty cash. * **General Ledger:** Maintain and reconcile GL accounts, post journal entries (accruals, prepayments). * **Month/Year-End Close:** Support timely and accurate closing processes, including variance analysis. * **Financial Reporting:** Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements, internal reports, and presentations. * **Compliance & Audits:** Ensure adherence to accounting standards (GAAP) and assist with internal/external audits. * **Budgeting & Forecasting:** Assist in budget preparation, forecast data, and analyze financial performance. * **Process Improvement:** Identify and implement enhancements for efficiency and control. Typical Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. * Proficiency in accounting software (ERP, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. * Communication skills to present financial data. * Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.
