HVAC Site Engineer

Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: 1- 2 years preferred **Job Overview** We are looking for a hands-on HVAC Site Engineer to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems across our construction sites. You will ensure that all HVAC works meet approved design drawings, local building codes, safety standards, and project timelines. **Key Responsibilities** **Site Supervision:** Direct day-to-day HVAC installation works (ductwork, piping, chillers, AHUs, FCUs) to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications. **Quality & Safety Control:** Perform regular site inspections, enforce safety standards (HSE), and ensure high-quality workmanship. **Subcontractor Management:** Coordinate with subcontractors, site foremen, and technicians to keep work progressing on schedule. **Material & Equipment Verification:** Inspect incoming HVAC materials and equipment on-site to verify they match approved submittals. **Problem Solving:** Identify site-level installation issues or design clashes and coordinate with consultant engineers to resolve them quickly. **Testing & Commissioning (T&C):** Assist in testing, balancing, and commissioning HVAC systems before project handover. Reporting: Maintain daily site logbooks, monitor progress against schedule, and prepare progress reports for project managers. Qualifications & Skills **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. **Experience:** 1–2 years of on-site experience handling HVAC/MEP installations on commercial, residential, or industrial projects. **Technical Skills:** Strong understanding of HVAC design principles, duct sizing, and piping layout. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus). Knowledge of local building codes and standard HVAC guidelines (ASHRAE, SMACNA). **Soft Skills:** Good communication, site leadership, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
