IT Estimation Engineer

Job Title: IT Estimation Engineer (Fit-Out / Construction) **Location:** UAE Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IT Estimation Engineer with a strong background in the UAE fit-out and construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and technical proposals for IT infrastructure, ELV, and low-current systems in commercial, residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects. The role requires close coordination with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure competitive and technically compliant bids. Key Responsibilities * Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for IT, ELV, and low-current systems. * Prepare accurate cost estimates for structured cabling, networking, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control, AV, IPTV, SMATV, PA/BGM, intercom, and related IT infrastructure. * Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications. * Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements. * Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project execution teams during tender and pre-award stages. * Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards and project specifications. * Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs. * Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client meetings when required. * Maintain an updated database of material prices, labor costs, and supplier information. * Support project handover by providing estimation documentation and budget clarifications. Requirements * Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. * 3–7 years of estimation experience in the UAE fit-out or construction industry. * Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and ELV systems. * Experience in commercial, hospitality, retail, and residential fit-out projects. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office. * Familiarity with BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and tender documentation. * Good understanding of UAE construction practices and authority requirements. * Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. * Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with leading ELV/IT system brands such as Cisco, HPE, Aruba, Hikvision, Axis, Bosch, Honeywell, and CommScope. * Knowledge of estimation software and ERP systems. * UAE driving license is an advantage.
