Land Surveyor

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced **Land Surveyor** to support the successful execution of high-rise building projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing survey control, setting out structural and architectural works, verifying levels and coordinates, conducting as-built surveys, and ensuring all survey activities are carried out accurately in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of surveying principles, experience with high-rise construction projects, and proficiency in modern surveying equipment and software. **Key Responsibilities** * Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control points, benchmarks, and reference points for the project. * Set out building grids, columns, foundations, walls, core walls, lift shafts, and other structural elements in accordance with approved drawings. * Verify excavation levels, foundation layouts, pile locations, and structural coordinates before construction activities commence. * Transfer control points and building coordinates accurately from the ground floor to upper floors using appropriate surveying techniques. * Check and verify the alignment, plumbness, verticality, and levels of structural elements during all stages of construction. * Carry out as-built surveys and prepare accurate as-built drawings for completed works. * Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Subcontractors regarding survey requirements and construction activities. * Operate and maintain surveying instruments including **Total Station, Auto Level, Digital Level, GPS/GNSS, and Laser Level**. * Ensure all survey work complies with approved shop drawings, project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable industry standards. * Monitor structural movement, settlement, and deformation where required by the project. * Record, maintain, and update survey data, field notes, calculations, and survey reports. * Verify dimensions, coordinates, and levels before concrete pouring and other critical construction activities. * Identify, report, and assist in resolving discrepancies between site conditions and approved drawings. * Assist with quantity measurements, earthwork calculations, and excavation volume computations when required. * Ensure surveying instruments are calibrated, maintained, and functioning correctly. * Follow all Company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures while carrying out survey activities. * Participate in technical coordination meetings and provide survey-related support throughout the project lifecycle. * Liaise with government authorities and external survey agencies for boundary verification, approvals, and statutory requirements where necessary. * Provide accurate setting-out for architectural, MEP, façade, landscaping, and finishing works during later stages of the project. * Maintain complete and organized survey documentation for project records and final handover. **Requirements** * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related discipline. * **5+ years of experience** as a Land Surveyor, with at least **3 years on high-rise building projects**. * GCC/UAE construction experience is preferred. * Experience in structural, architectural, and MEP setting-out works. * Familiarity with project specifications, shop drawings, and quality requirements.
