Planning Manager

About the Role Five Stars Management and Quality Consultant (FSMQC) is looking for a qualified and experienced **Planning Manager** to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting, and project controls activities while working closely with project stakeholders and site teams. Key Responsibilities * Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans and schedules. * Support project planning and scheduling activities in line with project requirements. * Monitor project progress against approved schedules and key milestones. * Identify delays, risks, constraints, and potential impacts on project timelines. * Prepare regular progress reports and planning updates for management review. * Assist in tracking project activities, deliverables, and milestones. * Coordinate with project stakeholders to obtain progress updates and relevant information. * Support the preparation and review of project planning documentation. * Provide professional planning advice and consultancy support to project teams. * Conduct site inspections and verify progress where required. * Maintain accurate planning and progress records. * Ensure planning activities and reports are prepared professionally and in accordance with project requirements. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. * Proven experience as a Planning Manager, Planning Engineer, or Project Controls professional in the construction or infrastructure sector. * Experience with major infrastructure or large-scale construction projects is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting. * Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or other project scheduling software. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work effectively with project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders. * Strong knowledge of construction project planning and project controls. * Candidates available to work in Abu Dhabi are preferred.
