Procurement Engineer

**Job Summary** We are looking for a **Procurement Engineer cum Purchaser** to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for fire protection projects while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. Candidates with experience in the Fire Protection, MEP, or Construction industry will be given preference. **Key Responsibilities** * Source materials and equipment by reviewing project drawings, specifications, and BOQs for fire alarm, firefighting, and life safety systems. * Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with local and international suppliers. * Obtain quotations, compare pricing, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize supplier agreements. * Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery. * Coordinate with Estimation, Design, and Project teams to meet project procurement schedules. * Ensure all procured materials comply with project specifications, UAE Civil Defence requirements, and relevant industry standards. * Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. * Support cost optimization initiatives while maintaining product quality and project requirements. **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. * **2–4 years of UAE experience** in procurement or purchasing within the **Fire Protection, MEP, or Construction** industry. * Good knowledge of fire protection materials, equipment, and UAE supplier networks. * Strong negotiation, vendor management, and material sourcing skills. * Familiarity with import logistics and customs procedures is an advantage. * Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously. * **Valid UAE Driving License** is preferred. **Job Type:** Full-time Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
