We are looking for an experienced **Senior QA/QC Engineer – Aluminum & Façade** to lead quality assurance and quality control activities across our factory and project sites, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and manage all QA/QC activities for aluminum, façade, glazing, and architectural metal works across factory and site operations. * Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality management systems. * Supervise, mentor, and develop QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors, ensuring consistent adherence to project specifications and company quality standards. * Conduct inspections of incoming materials, fabrication processes, assemblies, and site installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and international standards. * Coordinate inspections, approvals, and quality reviews with consultants, clients, contractors, and third-party inspection agencies. * Review and approve Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). * Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical specifications, and method statements from a quality compliance perspective. * Ensure proper installation and quality compliance of curtain walls, unitized façades, stick systems, ACP cladding, structural glazing, skylights, louvers, doors, windows, and other architectural façade systems. * Maintain complete QA/QC documentation, including inspection records, testing reports, calibration certificates, material traceability, and project quality logs. * Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits in accordance with **ISO 9001** and project-specific quality requirements. * Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and workmanship. * Work closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management teams to ensure quality objectives are achieved throughout the project lifecycle. * Monitor factory production and site installation activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures and industry best practices. * Prepare quality reports, KPIs, and management presentations highlighting project quality performance and improvement opportunities. **Qualifications & Experience** * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. * **6–10 years** of QA/QC experience in aluminum and façade projects within the UAE/GCC construction industry. * Proven experience managing quality assurance for both factory fabrication and site installation activities. * Strong leadership experience supervising, mentoring, and developing QA/QC teams. * Extensive knowledge of curtain wall systems, unitized façades, stick systems, ACP cladding, structural glazing, skylights, louvers, doors, windows, and architectural metal works. * Demonstrated experience working with consultants, contractors, developers, and third-party inspection agencies. * Strong understanding of technical drawings, fabrication processes, installation methodologies, inspection procedures, and QA/QC documentation. * Excellent communication, reporting, problem-solving, and organizational skills. **Preferred Skills** * Thorough knowledge of international standards including **ASTM, BS, EN, AAMA**, and relevant façade testing standards. * Experience implementing and maintaining **ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems**. * Familiarity with façade performance testing, field testing, and laboratory testing procedures. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA/QC documentation systems. * Strong analytical, decision-making, leadership, and mentoring abilities. * Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
