Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced **Senior Accountant** to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in **MIS reporting** and **ERP systems**. Key Responsibilities * Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring smooth daily operations. * Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Develop and present **MIS reports** to support management decision-making. * Maintain accounting records using **ERP software**. * Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger. * Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations. * Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial performance. * Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities. * Identify process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls. * Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance * Minimum 3-6 **years of accounting experience**, with at least **2 years in a team leadership role**. * Strong experience in **MIS Reporting** and **ERP Software**. * Experience in the **logistics and shipping** industry will be a strong advantage. * Excellent knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Professional certifications such as **ACCA, CMA, CA** will be an added advantage.
