Accountant

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage end‑to‑end accounting operations including VAT filing, financial reporting, P&L preparation, bookkeeping, AR/AP, account reconciliation, and payroll processing through WPS. The ideal candidate must be detail‑oriented, accurate, and fully compliant with UAE financial regulations. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and file VAT returns as per UAE FTA guidelines. * Manage P&L statements, balance sheets, and monthly financial reports. * Handle bookkeeping, journal entries, ledger posting, and bank reconciliation. * Oversee Accounts Receivable: invoicing, collections, AR aging. * Manage Accounts Payable: supplier invoice verification, payments, AP aging. * Perform daily/monthly reconciliations for bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany accounts. * Prepare and process monthly payroll through WPS; maintain attendance, overtime, deductions, EOSB. * Support audits, month-end closing, and compliance documentation. * Generate MIS reports and financial analysis for management. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. * 3–7 years of UAE accounting experience. * Strong knowledge of VAT, reconciliation, AR/AP, and WPS payroll. * Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar ERP systems. * Advanced MS Excel skills. * Strong accuracy, analytical skills, and time management. Preferred * Experience in construction/contracting industry. * Knowledge of UAE corporate tax compliance. Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
