Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage the company's financial records and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities * Maintain accurate financial records and prepare journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations. * Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. * Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments. * Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts on a regular basis. * Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory-related transactions. * Monitor inventory valuation and coordinate with the warehouse and pharmacy teams to ensure accurate stock records. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. * Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including preparing and filing VAT returns. * Support internal and external audits by preparing the required financial documents and reports. * Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. * Verify supplier invoices and coordinate timely payments. * Ensure compliance with company financial policies and applicable UAE laws and regulations. * Assist management with financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost control and operational efficiency. * Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience in UAE , preferably in a pharmacy, healthcare, retail, or FMCG environment. * Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards. * Proficiency in **Microsoft excel** Hands-on experience with **Tally ERP/Tally Prime** for accounting entries, invoicing, ledger management, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting. Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
