Audit Assistant – AI & Process Automation

Dubai audit firm led by Big Four alumni. Approved auditors across UAE mainland and all major free zones. We are rebuilding how audit documentation gets done, with AI at the centre of it. We want a graduate excited to build that with us — and to learn audit properly while doing it. You will do the work by hand before you automate it. Data entry, client files, traditional working papers — that's how you learn what the process actually is. Only once you understand it do you get to redesign it. We are not looking for someone who will say "this is not my job." **What you'll do** * Capture and index client records: invoices, bank statements, contracts, trade licences * Build trial balance, ledger and consolidation schedules in Excel * Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, OCR/PDF extraction) for first-pass data capture — then verify every figure yourself * Find the repetitive work in our process and help automate it. We act on ideas that work * Maintain document trackers and follow up with clients for pending records **Who we're looking for** * Fresh graduate or final-year student from any faculty — commerce or technology: B.Com, BBA, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Engineering * Finance background but keen on technology, or technology background but keen to learn finance — both welcome. Nothing in this field is standalone any more * Excited about AI in finance — not just using it, but figuring out where it fits and where it doesn't * Genuinely comfortable with Excel: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, cleaning messy data * Careful with numbers. Accuracy matters more than speed here * Willing to flag a discrepancy rather than guess past it * Ready to do manual, repetitive work first. You cannot improve a process you have never done yourself * Good written English; currently in the UAE.
