Role Description The Cost Control Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Erbil, responsible for overseeing cost planning, monitoring, and reporting across Silver Medal’s hospitality operations. This role involves tracking and analyzing operational and project costs, preparing regular cost reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Cost Control Manager will collaborate with operations, finance, and procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency, align spending with business targets, and identify opportunities for savings. Daily tasks include maintaining cost control systems, reviewing variances, recommending corrective actions, and supporting management with data-driven insights to improve financial performance. Qualifications Strong expertise in Cost Control and Cost Management for multi-outlet hospitality or similar service environments. Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Cost Reporting to interpret financial data and present clear, actionable insights. Experience in Project Control, including monitoring project budgets, timelines, and cost performance. Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems; experience with cost control software is an advantage. Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or F&B industries is highly desirable; professional certifications in finance or cost control are a plus.
