The Teaching Assistant will support instructors in delivering educational programs, preparing classroom materials, and organizing learning activities. Daily tasks include assisting with lesson implementation, helping learners understand key concepts, providing individual and small-group support, and monitoring student progress. The role also involves maintaining an orderly and inclusive classroom environment, supporting assessments, and communicating effectively with instructors, learners, and other staff. The Teaching Assistant will contribute to curriculum-related activities and participate in meetings and training sessions as needed. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Assistant Teaching and Education skills to support instruction and classroom activities. Candidates should possess effective Communication and Working With Children skills to engage learners and collaborate with staff. Candidates should possess solid Mathematics skills to assist with numeracy-related lessons and student support. Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain classroom readiness. Candidates should possess adaptability and problem-solving abilities to respond to diverse learner needs and changing priorities. Relevant coursework or a diploma/degree in Education or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in a teaching or tutoring environment, especially with children or young learners, is an advantage. Ability to work on-site in Erbil and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.
