Full Stack Developer

**Position:-** **Full Stack Developer** ***About Finclutech*** Finclutech is a Dubai-based technology company that builds and operates digital financial products and services across multiple international markets. **Company:** Finclutech **Location**: Dubai, United Arab Emirates **Department**: Engineering / Software Development **Reports To:** Head of Engineering **Employment Type**: Full-time/Onsite **Coverage**: Extended-hours / on-call rotation across multiple regional markets ***Position Summary:-*** Our platforms move real money across multiple regulated markets, every second of the day. Building and maintaining the services and interfaces behind them takes engineers who can work confidently across the whole stack. You'll design, build, and ship features end-to-end, from backend services through to the frontend interfaces that customers and operators rely on. The focus is on writing clean, well-tested code, owning your features from ticket to production, and keeping our platforms reliable as they scale across regions. ***Key Responsibilities:-*** * Build features end-to-end across backend and frontend, designing, implementing, testing, and shipping changes that span the full stack. * Develop backend services in Java/Spring Boot or Python (with Temporal workflows), exposing clean, well-documented REST APIs. * Build user-facing interfaces in React, with attention to usability, accessibility, and performance. * Model and query data across MySQL NDB Cluster, MariaDB Galera, and PostgreSQL, writing efficient and correct SQL. * Integrate with payment partners and internal services, handling retries, timeouts, and idempotency correctly so money movement stays consistent. * Write tests and review code, keeping quality high and regressions out of production. * Collaborate across teams by picking up work from Jira, documenting in Confluence, and working with Product, QA, Support, and DevOps from first ticket to release. * Monitor and troubleshoot what you ship using Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK, and fix issues at the root. ***Qualifications & Experience:-*** **Must have** * 4+ years building and shipping production web applications as a fullstack developer (or a strong backend developer with solid frontend experience). * BSc in Computer Science or a related field. * Strong backend experience in Java or Python, building RESTful APIs and microservices. * Solid frontend experience with React (TypeScript, HTML, CSS). * Proficient in SQL and comfortable working across relational databases. * Good understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful architectures. * Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines. * Comfortable with containers and Kubernetes-based deployment. * Analytical mindset and strong troubleshooting skills across the full stack; able to isolate problems and propose next steps. * Excellent written and verbal English to collaborate effectively with QA, Support (non-technical), and Engineering (technical) teams. **Nice to have** * Experience in fintech, payments, wallets, or another regulated, high-availability transactional domain. * Familiarity with Temporal (or a similar workflow-orchestration engine) and event-driven systems such as Kafka. * Awareness of secure handling of sensitive customer and financial data.
