Purchaser – Interior Fit-Out Works

**Job Summary:** The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and subcontractor services required for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures timely delivery, cost control, and quality compliance while coordinating closely with project managers, site engineers, suppliers, and vendors. **Key Responsibilities:** * Source and procure construction and fit-out materials, including finishes, MEP items, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. * Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to achieve the best price, quality, and delivery terms. * Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procurement procedures. * Monitor material delivery schedules to ensure project timelines are met. * Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and the storekeeper regarding material requirements and inventory. * Develop and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and identify new vendors. * Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. * Track procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities. * Resolve supply, delivery, or quality issues with vendors. * Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation. * Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and local regulations. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree. * 5 years of UAE purchasing experience in interior fit-out, construction, or related industries. * Strong knowledge of interior finishing materials, MEP items, joinery, and construction procurement processes. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/procurement software. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously. **Preferred Skills:** * Knowledge of local UAE supplier and subcontractor markets. * Strong analytical and cost-control skills. * Excellent vendor management and relationship-building abilities. * Ability to read technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications. * Familiarity with procurement documentation, contracts, and logistics coordination. Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
