**About Finclutech** Finclutech is a Dubai-based technology company that builds and operates digital financial products and services across multiple international markets. **Location**: Dubai, United Arab Emirates **Department**: Technical Operations **Reports To**: Head of Engineering **Employment Type:** Full-time/Onsite **Coverage**: Extended-hours / on-call rotation across multiple regional markets ***Position Summary:-*** We're looking for a mid-level Quality Assurance Engineer to help ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our platforms. You'll take ownership of test coverage for specific product areas, build out automation, and work closely with developers to catch issues before they reach production. This role suits someone comfortable working with moderate guidance, who's ready to grow into taking more ownership over test strategy. ***Key Responsibilities:-*** * Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and backend applications. * Build and maintain automated test suites for functional and regression testing, with growing ownership of test architecture decisions. * Test API integrations, particularly around payment processing, wallet transactions, and third-party provider connections. * Validate data integrity across distributed systems. * Integrate and maintain tests within CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, ArgoCD). * Reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution, working directly with developers (Jira). * Participate in performance and load testing efforts for high-transaction-volume systems. * Support UAT cycles with internal stakeholders and external partners. * Contribute test cases and coverage plans for new features, including those built on Temporal workflows and Kubernetes-based microservices. * Help maintain compliance with relevant regulatory and security standards. ***Qualifications & Experience:-*** **Must have** * 3-4 years of experience in software QA or test engineering. * Solid understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies. * Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar). * Experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools). * Comfortable writing SQL queries for data validation. * Experience working with Jira and Agile/Scrum development processes. * Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git/Bitbucket). **Nice to have** * Experience in fintech, payments, or banking domains. * Exposure to Kubernetes-based environments. * Experience testing mobile applications built with Flutter, Kotlin, or Swift. * Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, k6, or similar). * Awareness of security testing practices for financial systems. * ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent.
