**Role Overview** A **Quantity Surveyor with site experience** is responsible for managing project costs, preparing measurements, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring all works comply with contractual and financial requirements. The role combines **technical knowledge**, **cost control**, and **on‑site coordination** to support smooth project execution. **Job description:** **Key Responsibilities** * **Cost Estimation** — Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take‑offs based on drawings and specifications. * **Site Measurement** — Conduct actual site measurements and verify completed works for payment certification. * **Variation Management** — Identify, evaluate, and submit variation claims with proper documentation. * **Payment Certificates** — Prepare interim and final payment applications for clients and subcontractors. * **Cost Control** — Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and report cost deviations. * **Contract Compliance** — Ensure all works follow contractual terms, specifications, and approved drawings. * **Coordination** — Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to verify progress and resolve discrepancies. * **Procurement Support** — Assist in preparing RFQs, evaluating supplier quotations, and recommending cost‑effective options. * **Documentation** — Maintain updated records of measurements, variations, correspondence, and cost reports. * **Risk Assessment** — Identify cost‑related risks and propose mitigation strategies. **Required Skills & Competencies** * **Quantity Take‑off** and measurement accuracy * **Contract Administration** * Strong analytical and numerical skills * Proficiency in **AutoCAD**, **MS Excel**, and **QS software** * Good communication and coordination skills * Ability to work independently on site * Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in **Quantity Surveying**, **Civil Engineering**, or related field * Minimum **2–5 years** QS experience with **direct site exposure** * Experience in **contracting**, **consultancy**, or **Civil projects** Interested candidates may send their **CVs** to: **[email protected]** **[email protected]** Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
